Bill Tracker
This document, in two parts, displays the status of current and proposed state laws, respectively – containing more technical legal descriptions of those items, as well as links to the full texts of the pertinent state statutes, rules, regulations and pending bills. (Statutes are laws that have been passed by legislatures and are in force. Rules and regulations are expansions or commentaries on the statutes that are typically promulgated by executive branch regulatory agencies, and are also in force. Bills are proposed statutes that have not yet been enacted.)
Some of PMRG's data in this document comes from State Net, a private legislative tracking service to which PMRG subscribes. PMRG has included in this document its own evaluation as to the respective laws' "risk levels" – high, medium or low – for the marketing research industry.
