Howard Ziment has over 25 years experience as a senior business executive, strategist and strategic marketing researcher.
Before Mindfrog, Ziment was the Chairman of The Ziment Group (now Kantar Health), the largest strategic healthcare consulting\marketing research organization in the world. Kantar Health was formed in 2009 by the merger of The Ziment Group, the company that Ziment grew and ran for 20 years, TNS Healthcare and Mattson Jack. In 2001 Ziment sold The Ziment Group to Kantar, the information and consultancy division of the WPP Group (which is the world's largest marketing services organization). He then continued to serve as the Group CEO for five years post sale until the end of 2006, then serving as its non-executive Chairman until the end of 2010. Mindfrog marks a return to the front lines of the industry that he helped form over the past 25 years.

INDUSTRY LEADER. In 2003, the pharmaceutical marketing research industry recognized him with their lifetime achievement award –The R.R. Fordyce Award– in recognition of "contributions that are distinguished by excellence, innovation and integrity". He was named one of the Top 100 Inspiring People in the pharma-ceutical industry in 2006 by PharmaVoice magazine. He has spoken at a myriad of conferences worldwide and has published in industry journals throughout his career.
MARKETING AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE. He has been involved in over 50 product launches and over 500 strategic projects during his career in the healthcare, biotechnology and medical device industries as a marketing research consultant. The list of successful products that he has helped influence is lengthy. He has been involved in designing and conducting consulting assignments in the industry for over 25 years.
FINANCIAL PERFORMER. Under his leadership the Ziment Group grew every year while he was CEO with operating profits between 10% and 20% annually. Today the company is largest in the world of its kind. The Ziment Group was awarded the Kantar Group's Gold or Silver Medal in 2004 through 2006, the first three years that these medals were awarded and the last three years under Howard’s leadership as CEO.
Ziment is an advisor to, and is on, several boards in his business life and in his community. This includes his role as the President of the Board of Directors at La Jolla Country Day School, advisor to Zoove and ShopTap and as a member of the board at the California Ballet. He is a graduate from Georgetown University with a BS in Marketing and resides in San Diego, CA with his wife Judy and his two daughters Melanie and Lauren.
