Debbie Kenworthy

Janssen, the Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson


Debbie Kenworthy is Director, Business Analytics - Virology at Janssen, the Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. Debbie leads the team responsible for primary market research, forecasting, and marketing analytics in support of the HIV and Hepatitis C franchises. Over the course of her professional career, Debbie has participated in or led teams responsible for four pharmaceutical product launches and has held varied and increasing responsibilities in primary marketing research, national & regional analytics, forecasting, strategic planning, competitive intelligence, and sales operations at Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, and Parke-Davis.

For a number of years, Debbie also served in active leadership with PMRG – healthcare market research’s premier professional organization. Most recently, Debbie severed as the 2010 Chairman of the Board, leading the organization in developing a new long-term strategic plan. Over the past decade, she has also served as conference speaker, program chairperson, Secretary, Vice-President, and President. Debbie’s contributions to PMRG were recognized when she received the 2010 President’s Award for outstanding volunteerism and leadership.

Throughout her eight year J&J tenure, she has achieved tremendous success and results, and has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades including being named as one of the 2010 recipients of the inaugural RAVE (Recognizing and Valuing Excellence) Award. In 2008, Debbie was named to the PharmaVOICE 100 list of “Change Agents” in recognition of her industry leadership. That leadership is evident in her career-long dedication to employee development, research best practices, and business impact. Debbie also gives back through her ongoing personal commitment to causes such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Girl Scouts of America.

Debbie graduated summa cum laude with Honors from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication. She lives in the greater Philadelphia area with her husband and two daughters.
