Dean is currently Director, Oncology Marketing Research at Novartis. He has 17 years of pharmaceutical market research and consulting experience. After graduating from Brandeis University a degree in English and Politics, Dean joined Decision Resources where he played a leadership role in the development and launch of DecisionBase—a business intelligence tool that enables commercial attractiveness assessments of markets and opportunities.
Dean graduated from Columbia Business School in 2000 with a course concentration in management and strategy. After Columbia, Dean joined ZS Associates in 2000, where he worked on consulting projects pertaining to sales force effective, incentive compensation, and sales force size and structure.
Dean joined Forest Laboratories in 2002, where he spent six years leading market research efforts across a range of new products and in-line products, including flagship brands Lexapro and Namenda.
Dean has been at Novartis Oncology since 2008 where he has lead market research for Oncology and Endocrinology brands and pipeline products, including flagship brands Gleevec and Sandostatin LAR.
